Replacement DRL light guide strip for the BMW 5 Series G30/G38 (2017-2023). G30/G38 LCI DRL boards are the known weak point - they burn out and turn the daytime running lights amber-yellow, and a tired board can take the light guide with it. Fresh boards bring the white signature back.

Description
If your car's daytime running lights turn yellow, dim or fail, you don’t need to replace the entire headlight assembly — just replace the DRL guide strip tube and DRL board. Easy installation.
Feature
Which vehicles does the BMW 5 Series G30/G38 DRL Light Guide Strip fit?
It fits 2 verified vehicle platforms: BMW 5 Series G38 (2017-2023); BMW 5 Series G30 (2017-2023). Use the fitment checker on this page to confirm your exact year, make and model before ordering.
Is the BMW 5 Series G30/G38 DRL Light Guide Strip difficult to install?
Expect a careful teardown: headlamp off, lamp opened, strip replaced, seals reseated. Professional installation is recommended.
Does the BMW 5 Series G30/G38 DRL Light Guide Strip replace the factory part?
Yes — this is a like-for-like replacement for the original light guide strips; it plugs into the factory connectors and mounts on the stock points. Fresh boards bring the white signature back.
What DRL issues is the BMW 5 Series G30 DRL Light Guide Strip designed for?
The faults it corrects are yellowing DRL lights, dim daytime running lights, partial LED failure, and DRLs that flicker or stop working - the usual signs of an aged guide strip or LED board.
Why replace this part instead of the whole headlight?
Because the failure is in one component, not the lamp. Replacing that component alone - with OEM-matched fitment and connectors - costs far less than a new headlight and performs the same.
