Feature
Which vehicles does the Volkswagen Passat B6 DRL Module fit?
It fits 1 verified vehicle platform: Volkswagen Passat B6 (2006-2008). Use the fitment checker on this page to confirm your exact year, make and model before ordering.
Is the Volkswagen Passat B6 DRL Module difficult to install?
It is a board-level repair: remove the headlamp, swap the board, reconnect. A basic tool kit covers it on most models.
Does the Volkswagen Passat B6 DRL Module replace the factory part?
Yes — it is a direct replacement for the original LED boards on the listed vehicles, built to the same fitment points and connectors as the OEM unit, so no modification is required.
Why did the daytime running lights on my Volkswagen Passat B6 go dark while the strips look fine?
On the Volkswagen Passat B6 (2006-2008) this is the classic DRL driver module failure: the light guides are intact but the board behind them no longer powers them. Swapping the module restores the DRL function without replacing the whole headlight.
Can my garage fit this without special tools?
Yes. It follows the Volkswagen Passat B6's (2006-2008) original layout, so a standard headlight-out service procedure is all that is needed - no programming and no special tooling.
Is this an original part for the Volkswagen Passat B6?
It is a LumYard (LY) part, produced in our own factory to the Volkswagen Passat B6's (2006-2008) original connectors, layout and output - a like-for-like replacement rather than a generic board.
