Feature
Which vehicles does the BMW X5/X6 F15/F16 DRL Yellow LED Board fit?
It fits 2 verified vehicle platforms: BMW X5 F15 (2014-2019); BMW X6 F16 (2014-2019). Use the fitment checker on this page to confirm your exact year, make and model before ordering.
Is the BMW X5/X6 F15/F16 DRL Yellow LED Board difficult to install?
Access is through the back of the headlamp assembly: out, swap boards, reseat the connector. No special tools on most models.
Does the BMW X5/X6 F15/F16 DRL Yellow LED Board replace the factory part?
Yes — this is a like-for-like replacement for the original LED boards; it plugs into the factory connectors and mounts on the stock points.
Is the yellow a true amber, or does it look orange when lit?
True amber-yellow. The board is tuned for the BMW X5 F15's (2014-2019) light guide position, so the glow stays even and consistent - no white patches and no hot spots.
Will this LED board fit my 2014-2019 BMW X5 F15?
Fitment is verified per chassis: the LED board is shaped and pinned for the BMW X5 F15 (2014-2019) headlight. Confirm your exact year with the fitment list or the checker on this page.
How does the quality compare to cheap universal conversions?
Universal boards are generic and often glow unevenly. This one is made for the BMW X5 F15 (2014-2019) specifically - correct shape, correct connector, heat-stable material - which is what keeps the output uniform.
