Replacement DRL light guide strip for the BMW 2 Series F45/F46 (2016-2019). F45/F46 2 Series Active and Gran Tourer variants take dedicated DRL and turn-signal control modules - a failed module dims or kills the daytime running lights and swaps without a new headlight.

Description
If your car's daytime running lights turn yellow, dim or fail, you don’t need to replace the entire headlight assembly — just replace the DRL guide strip tube and DRL board. Easy installation.
Feature
Which vehicles does the BMW 2 Series F45/F46 DRL Light Guide Strip fit?
It fits 2 verified vehicle platforms: BMW 2 Series F45 (2016-2019); BMW 2 Series F46 (2016-2019). Use the fitment checker on this page to confirm your exact year, make and model before ordering.
Is the BMW 2 Series F45/F46 DRL Light Guide Strip difficult to install?
This is an inside-the-lamp repair: the headlamp comes off, is opened, and the strip swaps in. Professional fitment is the safer route.
Does the BMW 2 Series F45/F46 DRL Light Guide Strip replace the factory part?
Yes — it is a direct replacement for the original light guide strips on the listed vehicles, built to the same fitment points and connectors as the OEM unit, so no modification is required.
What problems does the BMW F45-F46 DRL Light Guide Strip fix?
It is built for the failures this headlight is known for - yellowed DRL lenses, dim or uneven daytime running light output, partial LED failure, and flickering or dead DRLs.
Why replace this part instead of the whole headlight?
It is the cheaper way to fix the lamp: replacing the failed part costs a small fraction of a complete headlight assembly, the fitment is OEM-matched, and the repair restores the daytime running light.
