Replacement DRL light guide strip for the BMW 7 Series F01/F02 (2009-2012). F01/F02 7 Series DRL boards and guides degrade from heat cycling and UV - yellowing first, then flickering and dead sections as the boards age. A new strip resolves the fault - the headlamp assembly stays on the car.

Feature
Which vehicles does the BMW 7 Series F01/F02 DRL Light Guide Strip fit?
It fits 2 verified vehicle platforms: BMW 7 Series F02 (2009-2012); BMW 7 Series F01 (2009-2012). Use the fitment checker on this page to confirm your exact year, make and model before ordering.
Is the BMW 7 Series F01/F02 DRL Light Guide Strip difficult to install?
This is an inside-the-lamp repair: the headlamp comes off, is opened, and the strip swaps in. Professional fitment is the safer route.
Does the BMW 7 Series F01/F02 DRL Light Guide Strip replace the factory part?
Yes — it is a direct replacement for the original light guide strips on the listed vehicles, built to the same fitment points and connectors as the OEM unit, so no modification is required.
What DRL issues is the BMW 7 SERIES DRL Light Guide Strip designed for?
The faults it corrects are yellowing DRL lights, dim daytime running lights, partial LED failure, and DRLs that flicker or stop working - the usual signs of an aged guide strip or LED board.
Why not just replace the whole headlight?
It saves you a headlight. Only the failed component is renewed, the fitment and connectors match the OEM part, and the result does the factory DRL's job.
